Trump’s national security adviser says Biden has won.

On Monday, President Trump’s national security adviser O’Brien said he would professionally ensure a transition of power to a team led by Biden, a Democrat, if Biden is considered the winner of the 2020 presidential election, Reuters reported.

Speaking at the Global Security Forum, O’Brien said that while he hopes Trump eventually wins a second four-year term, he would work with a new administration led by Biden and his running mate, Harris.

O’Brien said, “If the new administration comes in, they deserve to get some time to implement their policies.” He said, “If the Biden and Harris ticket is destined to be the winner, which it clearly is at this point, then there’s no question that we’re going to have a very professional handoff at the National Security Council.”
