The Chinese Canadian man who bought an IPHONE online received an empty box
The Chinese netizen who posted this said: “I bought an iPhone, Fedex came to deliver it today, I was not at Home, my Family opened the door, the other party asked for clarification is a family member put the package at the door and left. Because of the Epidemic usually we do not touch the package, but let the package on the door to put a while, the family did not care.”
“When I came back to get it already feel wrong, the box is very light, it feels like there is nothing at all, the first layer of paper tape was cut, with transparent tape on it, but I have no experience, still can not help but rush to open to see, it is indeed empty!”
“The courier guessed that we would not touch the package because of the epidemic, and if we picked it up by hand, we should feel that something was wrong, and I was careless. .”
In this regard, netizens expressed great surprise and looked forward to the follow-up of the netizen L update incident.
However, some netizens speculated that this would not be the box used to trade-in, put the old phone and send it back to Apple.
But netizen L explained that he did not intend to trade in at all. Netizen L also said, “The tracking number of this box is the same as the one on the order, and it is indeed the tracking number of the iPhone that was sent out.”
At this point, another user J said, “First, the box of trade in is sent by UPS, not Fedex, and there will be some accessories inside. Second, I ordered the phone last week, it should have been delivered last week, but Fedex told me this Tuesday that the package could not be found. Netizen J thinks that it is Fedex is stealing something confirmed without a doubt.
Other users said that couriers steal things from Time to time, before many people’s Sony game console PS5 were stolen.
In the end, it is Apple’s oops, or by the courier “steal the dragon to Phoenix”, it is not known.
Canadian Chinese COSTCO buy IPHONE opened to see that it is fake
A few months ago, a Chinese Canadian @Pnk posted online that she bought a fake iphone 12 Pro Max Blue at Costco, reminding everyone that valuable items are best inspected on the spot before taking them home. The Chinese also said she didn’t suspect Costco of selling fake goods, she was more convinced that someone had bought a real iPhone at Costco and then put the fake phone back in the box to take it home with malicious returns.
The Canadian Press reports that late last year, @Pnk went to Costco to buy something and bought an iPhone 12 phone along the way. When she got it, the plastic box was in good condition. She didn’t open it on the spot to see. I didn’t expect to get home and open it, but I was surprised to find that the phone was a fake.
@Pnk said that the fake phone not only had low pixels and incorrect color, but also had a low level of fingerprint collection. What’s worse, there are some indescribable pictures inside the phone.
The next day, the poster’s husband took the fake phone back to Costco to return it, and the Costco clerk called a few professional employees to check it for half a day and found that the phone didn’t even have a serial number. After determining that it was a fake, the refund was given directly.
@Pnk said she suspected the phone was someone who bought the real one and then maliciously returned it for a fake one back. @Pnk makes it a point to remind everyone that it’s best to inspect your valuables on the spot before taking them home.
Chinese man faces 60 charges for malicious returns after crazy online shopping
A 28-year-old Chinese man in Toronto, Canada, was recently arrested for allegedly returning goods after an online shopping spree and faces 60 charges.
Canadian media reported that between June 1 last year and February 18 this year, the 28-year-old suspect, Christopher Lim, went on an online shopping spree with different companies in Canada, and once he received the items, he would immediately go and contact the seller and ask for a refund on the return.
However, instead of putting the items in the box when he returned them, Lim put a device into the package that would remove the package’s label, ultimately resulting in the package not being returned to the merchant without any problems.
The police did not mention the name of the device inside the package, but since the post office had received the goods, the merchant would make a refund.
