On February 23, a woman in Guangzhou rented a Gofun shared car with her companion and felt a sharp pain just after sitting on the seat. It was later discovered that there were four long needles standing up on the passenger seat, each about 5 cm long. The female passenger was stuck with the long needles up to 2 cm deep into her buttocks. It is reported that the car-sharing party has offered compensation but asked for the video to be removed.
According to local media reports, on February 23, a user in Guangzhou reported that she was stabbed in the buttocks by a steel needle under the passenger seat in a GoFun car sharing vehicle. The user reported that a total of four steel needles were found in the car and that she sought medical examination afterwards for fear of contracting a disease.
According to the report, the woman called the police and said the car-sharing party had offered compensation but asked for the video to be removed. The car-sharing party responded that it was cooperating with the police.
The video posted by a netizen shows the woman renting a Gofun car, and being stabbed with a long needle just after sitting down. Afterwards, they found four long needles, each about 5 cm long, under the yellow passenger seat. The woman who rented the car also disclosed the license plate: Guangdong A-DE9516. the woman said she had called the police.
It is reported that Gofun, a car-sharing company under the Shouqi Group, was the first to enter this industry, and has opened car-sharing operation services in several cities in China.
