On February 17, a clash occurred at the Shijiazhuang Gaocheng Hospital of Integrative Medicine in which isolated personnel angrily smashed and demolished the isolation fence. A local source, Ms. Liu, told the Epoch Times that there are more than 800 health care workers plus patients, and that doctors and patients are forcibly isolated in the hospital and cannot go Home. Some people have been isolated in the hospital for more than 40 days.
The local government in Gaocheng has implemented extreme one-size-fits-all Epidemic prevention measures, causing public discontent and triggering many protests. Ms. Liu revealed, “Evergrande Oasis (a community in Gaocheng) also because they are not released (thousands of people gathered to protest), they are very close to the city center, but they are not allowed to go, it is not convenient to buy Food. There are hundreds of people out shouting slogans on the side of Changsheng Street, hoping to unblock it as soon as possible.”
Ms. Liu said angrily, “My relatives have been in isolation at the Chinese hospital for more than a month and have recovered from their illness, and they still won’t let people go home. They reflect to the (hospital) director, but the director has been pushing, saying ‘has been reflected upwards, let the doctor and patient wait patiently’. I think they just couldn’t stand the isolation for too long, so they smashed (the isolation enclosure) and were really about to go crazy.”
“If there were new confirmed diagnoses reported on the news, then we could cooperate with the quarantine, but there are no new ones, and it’s been more than 21 days. What about the many people who have car loans and home loans?!”
“I was working part-Time in a job before and the company was not doing well, but they used the epidemic as an excuse to just stop paying us. The company has about forty part-timers who are owed wages. We can’t walk around because of the epidemic, and we have no way to get paid.”
On February 18, Ms. Liu’s relatives and some of the people isolated in the combined Chinese and Western medicine hospital were notified to go to Huangzhuang apartment (square cabin) to continue their isolation, Ms. Liu said, “There are about sixty of them this evening, and they are going to be transferred to Huangzhuang and continue their isolation for 14 days.”
Ms. Liu found this epidemic prevention initiative by the local government strange, “We have no confirmed cases, yet we have been sealed off. Inside those purchasing groups (WeChat groups) we have, we are cursing and complaining every day.” She believes there is a possibility of under-reporting, “One has to wonder if there are cases that are not reported up the chain.”
In addition, a local netizen publicly broke the news online that Gao Cheng Chinese Hospital smashed and demolished, another inside story. “My Parents are trapped in Gaocheng Chinese Hospital, and every day they can only call to ask the old couple about the situation, (parents) will not use the phone.”
“Yesterday (February 17 smash demolition hospital isolation barrier event) because: a heart attack patient has been delayed, not allowed to transfer, the relevant departments no one dare to release, but to pass the buck to each other, resulting in the death of the patient, the Family has now been still isolated in the hospital.”

The netizen revealed, “Recently, a certain doctor within the hospital had a heart attack and was immediately sent to Shijiazhuang for treatment. The family was furious when they heard about it! Into the smashing and demolition of the fence. Trapped in the Chinese hospital a lot of people, no one care, public discontent!”
Another Gao Cheng villager revealed online, “(village) during the closure of the city, died five, all of them are emergency, heart disease, myocardial infarction, the nearby hospital is not open, said to go to Shijiazhuang city, 30 to 40 kilometers, went to have been rescued can not come back. You say that those few family members heart more difficult, the largest is more than fifty, and a thirty-year-old.”

It is difficult to see a doctor during the closure of Gaocheng. Ms. Liu told the Epoch Times, “At the height of the epidemic, if there was an emergency, it was supposed to go to the hospital inside the city. Later, the county hospital opened two clinics, one for fever and one for emergencies.”
“About three or four days ago, my grandfather seemed to have had an acute brain attack and couldn’t get up from sitting on the floor. I drove over to their house and we called an ambulance, but the other side said there weren’t enough ambulances and told us to go there ourselves. Luckily, my grandfather was not heavy and we were able to pull him to the hospital. Diseases like cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral thrombosis, if there is no stretcher and he is allowed to walk there by himself, it is easy to have problems on the road.”
“We waited for about two hours before we got hooked up to the emergency room. Because there were so many people (visiting the doctor), some doctors were still in isolation. After taking the film, we were told we needed to be transferred to the city hospital. It took two or three hours apart before we found an ambulance. We also had to go to the community to get a certificate before we could go to the city. We didn’t get to the hospital inside the city from 3 p.m. until the early morning to see the doctor.”
Isolation 28 days not allowed to go home, but also to change places isolation, the elderly collapse painful kneeling.
