On February 17, the 42nd anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party’s 1979 Vietnam War, netizens once again exposed the “Ten Killing Orders” of Xu Shiyou, the commander of the Chinese Communist Army in Vietnam, which had chilled the hearts of the Chinese Communist soldiers, and today made the netizens even more alarmed. Netizens said that this really expresses succinctly the status of soldiers in the eyes of the Chinese Communist Party and the fate of the Communist Party’s cannon fodder.

According to official Chinese media reports, on Feb. 17, the Chinese Communist Party launched the Vietnam War on its side. The war was fought in two directions: Yunnan Province, commanded by Yang Dezhi, commander of the Kunming Military Region, and Guangxi, commanded by Xu Shiyou, commander of the Guangzhou Military Region. Xu Shiyou was also responsible for the military justice of those who failed to complete the task, and also formulated the “Ten Kill Order”.

The Chinese Communist Party’s official media reported: “The Ten Killing Orders” are concise and striking, and no matter which one is violated, it is a death sentence. The Ten Killing Orders have greatly improved our army’s combat discipline and scared the Vietnamese soldiers!”

However, another Chinese Communist media reported that an infantry squad leader at the Time recalled that at the border line, the entire company gathered together and the instructor, Zhang Shiwei, read out the “Ten Killing Orders” from Guangxi Theater Commander Xu Shiyou. The company was silent as the instructor read the “Ten Kill Order”. Until the end, the platoon leader shouted the command “turn back, run”, the usually neat pace became a bit chaotic, I think it was because the soldiers’ thoughts had not yet calmed down from the shock.

The Chinese Communist Party officially claimed that more than 6,900 of its troops were killed in action. However, some informed sources revealed that after the war, Ye Jianying, Li Xiannian and others had an internal speech that 48,000 people died on the Chinese side and 48,000 on the Vietnamese side, but the Chinese side was full of young and strong boys (including the militia who carried stretchers in support of the front), while the Vietnamese side included the so-called militia (including women, the elderly, etc.). The implication is that the gains are not worth the losses.

The following video posted by a netizen explains where the soldiers of the Chinese Communist army belong.

Netizen’s comment.

“It was clearly Vietnam that sent troops to Cambodia (Khmer Rouge). The Chinese Communist Party helped Cambodia to send troops to attack Vietnam. What is a counter-attack war against Vietnam.”

“Deng Xiaoping single-handedly planned a wrong war in order to capture military power and teach Vietnam a lesson to destroy the Khmer Rouge.”

“Heartache and trembling! What is all this for? We all know why! But few people dare to ask why!”

“Every time I see this old man, it brings tears to my eyes! Then anger! Then helplessness! And then still sad! She is often in my mind! Often!!!”

“Poor mother, supporting twenty years of painful Life, in order to save money for the road to see her son, to see her mother tearing her heart out and crying, unable to express in words the sadness in her heart.”
