The Chinese Communist Party‘s practice of depriving people of their personal freedom has been criticized by the international community and has caused considerable discontent among the Chinese people. A girl from Hong Kong who returned to the mainland for the Chinese New Year said she went Home after 35 days of mandatory quarantine and had her nucleic acid tested four times, feeling the preciousness of freedom.
Hong Kong residents returning to Hegang for New Year’s Eve were isolated for 35 days
Ms. Lin (a pseudonym) is a native of Hegang, Heilongjiang Province, she went to school in Hong Kong, and then stayed in the local work, has been two or three years. At the beginning of January this year, she went home for New Year’s Eve after a lot of difficulties.
On February 17, Ms. Lin told the Epoch Times about her painful experience of being forcibly isolated by the authorities for 35 days after returning to the mainland for the Chinese New Year.
In early January, Ms. Lin entered Guangdong Province from Hong Kong in a large limousine. After entering Guangdong, special people took care of them and put them in centralized isolation in various hotels for 14 days. The quarantine cost was self-funded, 200 yuan (RMB) a night.
Ms. Lin took a detour through Guangdong and then back home because their hometown, Hegang, does not even have a high-speed rail, nor an airport, and if they take a plane from Hong Kong to Harbin, they have to change planes for several days, which, in her words, “who can stand it.
Ms. Lin said she was quarantined in Guangdong for 14 days, according to normal words, she should first go to Zhuhai, then take a plane to Jiamusi (also have to transfer). She had no choice but to go to Shenzhen, where she stayed for one night, and then took a flight to Jiamusi.
Her name was announced before she got off the plane
She arrived in Jiamusi on January 19 or 20, and before she got off the plane, “I was announced directly on the plane, how many seats in the first row, my name, and told to wait before leaving, so I felt a little bit violated to privacy.
She waited on the plane for a while and was finally allowed to get off the plane normally. She got off the plane at about nine o’clock in the evening and took her temperature, which was normal, and was then placed in a large van sent by the Hegang officials to take an hour and a half back to Hegang.
Was concentrated in isolation for 14 days was also on the seal
She said: “I am Hegang Xiangyang District, each district has a centralized isolation point in each district, we this one district is the bathing center, not a normal hotel.
“I was isolated in the bathing center for 14 days, and then home isolated for 7 days. I came back a total of 35 days apart.”
Ms. Lin said it was very unreasonable for her to be forced into isolation for 35 days and that she was treated unfairly. Because she came back from Hong Kong, she has finished 14 days of isolation, in fact, her health code has been green, but they keep letting her isolate, another 21 days. And the normal codes are 14 days when you enter the information, all the codes are 14 days.
She also felt that the isolation conditions in Hegang are not good, is the bathing center to change, even the centralized isolation also to them “all stickers seal”. Garbage can not be thrown away as you wish, three Time slots every day, seven o’clock in the morning, eleven o’clock at noon, and then five o’clock at night.
When the centralized isolation, she said she lived in the room even a little disinfectant smell; there is no special person to take her temperature or anything, just a phone call to ask a question.
Hegang isolation is also self-funded, at the beginning of the isolation, are Family members to send her Food, almost the end of a few days, suddenly mandatory to eat their isolation meals, is charged, in the bath center is about a hundred dollars a day.
After 14 days of isolation, she was forced to be isolated at home for another 7 days. “Home isolation seals were posted to keep from going out.”
A month to do four nucleic acid test ready to feel free valuable
Ms. Lin said, “The isolation is so long because the officials are afraid that something will happen, and they also do blood serum here, I have done nucleic acid test four times in almost a month.”
When you are in isolation, the authorities do not care about your personal feelings and physical and mental health, and there is no psychological survey, no one asks if you have any uncomfortable conditions lately.
“I really feel like I’m staying all psychologically shadowed, I’m getting depressed, but no one cares at all over here. Then there are no receipts, we have some report forms, I have a small thick pile of isolation in Guangdong, but there is nothing here.”
Ms. Lin said, “After this quarantine, I feel that freedom is a very precious thing. It’s really hard, it’s the kind of psychological difficulties that I have not felt before, and these days I would rather be at home near the supermarket inside shopping, rather than stay at home, there is a sense of fear. This 35 days, are catching up with the custody of crime, are catching up with the kind of criminals, really ……”
Ms. Lin said she came home this time at a great cost, in addition to being isolated for 35 days, she also spent more than 10,000 yuan, and also the Hong Kong side of the Education job are quit.
“If it weren’t for the elderly in our family, who would want to go back? It was still so cold.” Ms. Lin said, “back after our community director speech is particularly difficult to hear, they all feel outside the country back, are can be afraid, do not let back. It’s quite that.”
The Chinese Communist Party brutally isolates people without regard for their lives
Ms. Lin said her situation was better because she came back from outside the country. If it were a local, the isolation would be much worse than hers.
She said, “A junior high school classmate of mine and her mother, came back from Hainan, they made a trip from Harbin, came back to let people home isolation. Because suddenly to quarantine, her family what to eat are not yet, they gave people quarantine.”
“At first it said 14 days, then it seems to be changed to 7 days quarantine plus 7 days health testing. Quite suddenly to people isolated, and then paste the seal.” Ms. Lin said.
Many local people also gave feedback online that many people in Hegang City were forced to isolate for 14 days, with seals on their doors, and their feedback to the authorities did not work.
A netizen said, “Hegang City, Nanshan District, asked Beijing low risk to go back to one person home isolation for 14 days (stickers) plus two nucleic acid tests. Street director, the district health bureau (informed me is the city of secret documents, not according to national policy), the mayor hotline, the governor hotline, the provincial health bureau, the provincial disease prevention and control center, played a round of complaints to no avail. Finally called the Discipline Inspection Commission and advised me to comply with the local prevention and control policy!”
Another netizen feedback said, “Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province, all (from) low-risk (areas) back to the city are allowed to post a seal quarantine seven days. Before watching the news that local governments are not allowed to arbitrarily increase the code to block the return of this matter, call 12388 excuses to 12345, 12345 said to find the district where it is, gave a call 50 times also did not answer the phone. Then 12345, 12388 staff attitude is bad, language provocative, I really do not know is the state public officials, or triad hooligans. Many people like me who are eager to go home multi-reporting are useless, is there no national government can manage, too let the people chill, disappointed in this society.”
