Trump and his wife Melania Trump (Trump).
The former First Lady of the United States announced the opening of Melania Trump’s (Trump’s) office on the 12th. Prior to that, Trump set up an official “Office of the Former President”.
On Feb. 12, a Twitter account called Office of Melania Trump tweeted: Mrs. Melania Trump announces the opening of the Office of Melania Trump. Follow this account for updates.
Melania’s authenticated Twitter account retweeted the tweet. This is Melania’s first public statement since she made a brief address to a farewell crowd on the last day of the Trump presidency.
On Jan. 18, Melania posted a farewell video on social media in which she said, “It has been the greatest honor of my Life as First Lady of the United States. I have been inspired by the incredible Americans across the country who have uplifted their communities through their kindness, courage, goodness and grace. The past four years have been unforgettable.
In her farewell video, Melania praised and thanked the military and law enforcement officials.
On January 20, after Trump left office, CNN reported on January 27 that Melania will set up a “post-White House office” (post-White House office) in Palm Beach County, Florida, and that three former White House employees are interested in joining.
The newspaper said Melania set up the office in order to maintain the “strive for the best” (BE BEST) initiative. The initiative was proposed by Melania when she was the first lady, to make people pay more attention to the emotional and physical growth of children.
Trump established the Office of Donald J. Trump on Jan. 25 to manage Trump’s correspondence, public statements, appearances and official activities to promote the interests of the United States.
“The Office of the Former President said in a statement at the Time that the office would continue the Trump Administration‘s agenda through advocacy, organizing and public events, and that President Trump would always be a champion for the American people.
The day Trump established the “Office of the Former President,” the House of Representatives brought an impeachment charge to the Senate. Democrats accused Trump of being responsible for the Jan. 6 rebellion that led to a group of people breaking into the U.S. Capitol.
On Feb. 9, the same day the Senate began impeachment hearings against former President Trump, The Detroit Metro Times and other Michigan media outlets simultaneously reported that Michigan Senate Republican Leader Mike Shirkey (R) said the Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill was a premeditated hoax.
Shirkey said, “It wasn’t done by Trump supporters, it was a hoax to begin with. Everything was a prearranged hoax, funded by someone.”
When Hilkey was reminded at the time that the riot might have been behind Washington’s Democratic mayor, Muriel Bowser, he said Bowser was a puppet.
A group called “Take Back Our Republic” (R.O.A.R.) filmed the scene and posted the video on YouTube, the newspaper said.
U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri said Feb. 10 that allowing Rep. Eric Swalwell, who is embroiled in a scandal with Chinese Communist spy Fang Fang, to serve as manager of the impeachment case is a provocation to the U.S. Congress.
Trump lawyers denounced the Democrats’ impeachment manager as a political witch hunt and manipulation of hate speech against Trump, and showed videos of Democrats using similar hate speech speeches.
Most senators said their position is clear that the impeachment case is being closed at an accelerated pace and that it is almost certain that Trump will be acquitted.
