On February 6, according to the China Earthquake Network: 4.2 magnitude earthquake occurred at 22:54 in Qinghai Haixi Prefecture, Monya City, with a depth of 10 km.
China Earthquake Network news said that the earthquake was surrounded by villages within 20 kilometers of Huangshabag, no township resident distribution within 20 kilometers, and townships within 50 kilometers of Lenghu Township.
According to the China Earthquake Network Quick Report Directory, a total of 25 earthquakes of magnitude 3 or higher have occurred within 200 km of the epicenter in the past five years, with the largest earthquake being a 4.5 magnitude earthquake that occurred on June 17, 2018 in Aksai County, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province (103 km from the epicenter of this earthquake).
Officials of Mangria City claimed that the earthquake was not felt in Huatugou Town and Lenghu Town of Mangria City, and no casualties or property damage have been reported.
Earlier, on Feb. 5, netizens released a video showing thousands of crows flying around the downtown area of Xining City in Qinghai Province, which felt creepy in the dark. Netizens said, could it be an ominous omen?

At 7:51 p.m. on December 24, a 4.2 magnitude earthquake occurred in Mado County, Golog Prefecture, Qinghai, at a depth of 7 kilometers.
Some people think that the earthquake and the red light is likely to be related to the fire meteor in Qinghai.
