A mother and baby care center in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, has been shocked by the news that 14 newborn babies were admitted to the hospital with toxic pneumonia, and 12 of them became critically ill and needed to be resuscitated with ventilators. The Family of one of the sick baby, Mr. Ma, told Land Media that his wife gave birth in the hospital on January 10 and stayed in XinXiangYueYuan time three days later, he went to the club on January 30 and found that the baby had some nasal congestion, the nursing staff said it might be dry air and suggested hot compresses; on the 31st the baby’s nasal congestion worsened and was accompanied by a cough, by night, his wife said the baby was in bad shape, he arrived at the club early on February 1 and found The baby’s illness was obvious.
Another parent, Mr. Li, also reported that his 13-day-old child was sent to the monthly club for care, and was subsequently diagnosed with neonatal pneumonia: “On January 24, my child and my loved one checked into the XinXiangYueTimes monthly club; on the 26th, the child had a stuffy nose and a slight cough. The so-called professional physician of the club told me that these were normal phenomena. I also believed it. But the symptoms worsened on the 28th and 29th.”
The clubhouse put Mr. Li’s children together in an 18-room nursery. “(After that) my children were pushed back to the room separately, each child was pushed back to their respective rooms.
