Trump returns to social network, uploads rebuttal to impeachment letter on Gab

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has been blocked from Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms for allegedly inciting supporters to break into Capitol Hill. He recently reactivated his social media account on Gab, uploading his lawyer’s response to the impeachment trial starting next week on Thursday (4).

Trump first posted on Gab two days after the congressional riot on June 6, and he made three posts that day. The Senate will begin impeachment proceedings against him next week, and on Thursday he posted a letter to Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Ill.), signed by his attorney, criticizing his opponent’s public relations tactics for influencing the unconstitutional impeachment process.
