The Croydon district of London, England, on Friday night (5) in less than three hours, five cases of stabbing, one person died, nine people were injured, some of the injured need to be sent to hospital. Police do not know whether each case is connected, and appealed to the public to provide information to help the investigation.
The first injury case occurred at nearly 7 p.m., the rescue department received a report that someone was injured near Chapman Road (Chapman Road), and arrived to find a man with stab wounds. 15 minutes later, four men in their 20s were injured to seek medical attention at South London Hospital, claiming to have been cut with a knife, one of whom was in critical condition.
At about 8:08 p.m., two more men were stabbed at another location in the district, one of whom was sent to hospital before police arrived and was not in fatal condition. One and a half hours later, police officers received a report from South London Hospital that two men with stab wounds sought medical attention, one of whom was in critical condition. By 9:12 p.m., a man was beheaded in the city center, and police arrested a suspected assailant, who was also arrested. Police later said that a series of attacks led to 10 people injured, one of them died of injuries.
