U.S. allows Baidu to conduct all-weather driverless tests in California

On January 27, local Time, the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) issued an open road driverless testing permit to Baidu. At the same time, Baidu Apollo announced that it will focus on driverless testing programs in the United States.

It is reported that the permit allows Baidu Apollo to conduct all-weather driverless testing in Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County, California, with two types of vehicles: Lincoln MKZ and Chrysler Pacifica.
