The Gateway Pundit says Trump is expected to meet with Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) in Florida this week, according to various reports.
Reports say Kevin McCarthy has been a staunch defender of President Trump and voted to turn away voters from Joe Biden of Pennsylvania on Jan. 6 – yet, despite reports to the contrary, the Republican leader has come out and said left-wing protesters were not involved in the riots at the Capitol.
The Gateway Pundit said McCarthy did not vote to impeach Trump weeks ago, yet he didn’t really push back against her after the traitor Liz Cheney voted “yes” to impeachment.
McCarthy simply said he had “concerns” but supported Cheney.
“She took the No. 3 position in the conference and she never told me in advance,” McCarthy told Greta Van Susteren in an interview last week.
No other details of Trump’s tentative meeting with McCarthy were provided.
