According to official media reports, two confirmed local cases were reported in Shanghai between 00:00 and 24:00 on Jan. 25. Currently, all 15 confirmed local cases have been treated at the city’s public health center. Authorities said that Shanghai is a very safe city and it is normal for isolated cases to occur, so there is no need to panic or to spread rumors.

However, informed netizens disclosed that the authorities have pulled away all the residents of Guixi and Zhaotong neighborhoods in Huangpu District, which have been upgraded to medium-risk areas, for centralized quarantine. But the official media did not report this.

The video posted by netizens shows that the new square cabin quarantine site is in the town of Heqing, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, which is next to the Yangtze River and is reportedly near Greenland Coastal City. From the scale of construction, covering an area of hundreds of acres, may have to build thousands of isolation square cabin.
