McConnell: Trump you dare to pardon Assange Senate will be more likely to convict you Video

Earlier on Jan. 19 Fox Channel said Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) threatened President Trump with impeachment if the president pardoned Julian Assange …… The Gateway Pundit thinks it looks a lot like blackmail.

Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson was reporting on the scandal on Tuesday night (Jan. 19).

Carlson argued on his show that “Senate Republican leader, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, sent a message to the White House that if Trump pardoned Assange, the Senate would be more likely to convict Trump in a case of impeachment.”

The Gateway Pundit believes that McConnell was trying to protect the swamp creatures, which was always his intention. Carlson also commented, “This message reveals McConnell’s top priority, what McConnell is most worried about right now. He is thinking about how to protect both parties from ever being able to have Washington in power, yet this is the reason Assange is in prison, because Assange would expose the most embarrassing criminal behavior of those in power in Washington. What McConnell needs to do most in President Trump’s final hours in office is, let Assange continue to be punished. “

The Jan. 19 Gateway Pundit expects President Trump to announce as many as 150 pardons before he leaves office. The nominees include, Steve Bannon, Joe Exotic and Julian Assange, (R-AZ). The latest news shows that the list of pardons released by President Trump on Tuesday does not include Assange’s name, nor Joe Exotic, but Stephen K. Bannon (Stephen K. Bannon) received a full pardon from President Trump.
