The Gateway Pundit reports that the FBI is vetting the National Guard in Washington, fearing “insider attacks” or threats from military personnel protecting Biden’s inauguration.
The Gateway Pundit says the Biden camp has become increasingly paranoid after stealing the 2020 election.
In the days leading up to Biden’s inauguration, Washington, D.C., has turned into a military occupation like Baghdad, the report said. In fact, there are more U.S. troops here today than in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan combined.
Armed U.S. military personnel authorized to use lethal force man checkpoints in and out of downtown Washington, D.C., and have established green and and red zones . Several bridges into the city from neighboring Virginia are scheduled to be closed next week .
Barbed wire-topped fences have been erected around the Capitol and Supreme Court, and large areas of official Washington have been cordoned off from vehicular traffic.
Closed-circuit television cameras have also been installed so they can spy on people they don’t trust.
According to NBC, U.S. defense officials are concerned that members of the guard chosen to secure Biden’s fraudulent inauguration could launch an inside attack or threat. “U.S. defense officials say they are concerned that military personnel involved in securing President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration could launch an insider attack or other threat, prompting the FBI to vet all 25,000 National Guard soldiers who entered Washington for the event.
Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy told The Associated Press on Sunday that officials are aware of the potential threat, and he warned commanders to be aware of any problems within the ranks as the inauguration nears. So far, however, he and other leaders say they have seen no evidence of a threat, and officials say the review has not flagged any problems.
“We’re going through this process constantly and taking a second, third look at everybody assigned to this operation,” McCarthy said in an interview after he and other military leaders conducted an exhaustive, three-hour security exercise in preparation for Wednesday’s inauguration. He said members of the Guard are also being trained on how to identify potential insider threats.
About 25,000 National Guard soldiers are pouring into Washington from across the country – at least 2.5 times the number of people who have attended previous inaugurations. And while the military routinely screens service members for ties to extremism, the FBI’s screening is in addition to any previous monitoring. “
