The U.S. Congress will vote on the results of the Electoral College vote on Wednesday afternoon (6). President Trump tweeted on Tuesday (5) that he would address supporters rallying outside the White House on Wednesday morning. Large numbers of Trump supporters continue to pour into Washington, and the authorities are standing by.
In the posting, Trump said he would address supporters at a demonstration protesting the confirmation of the election results by Congress. He wrote: “I will be speaking to the Save America Rally on the Oval Lawn at 11 a.m. Eastern Time. Get in early, doors open at 7 a.m. and the crowd is huge.”
He also posted that Washington was swamped by large crowds who did not want to see radical left-wing Democrats steal the election victory, saying, “Our country has had enough and they will not take it anymore!” He also said he had heard the voices of these people and hoped that Democrats and vulnerable Republicans would look directly at these people who had come to Washington.
