According to the website of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), 14 departments, including the NDRC, have recently issued a Work Plan for the Recent Expansion of Domestic Demand and Consumption (hereinafter referred to as the “Plan”).
The Programme mentions that it will launch a national list of recommended household emergency material reserves in the autumn and winter. With reference to the experience of Beijing and other places in launching provincial-level household emergency supplies reserve lists, the Programme will develop a basic national list of recommended household emergency supplies reserves, encourage localities to expedite the development of an expanded list in accordance with local conditions, and guide urban households to stockpile medical supplies such as household first aid kits.
