Veteran Media Personality Analyzes Why Foreign Companies Pay the Biden Family

In an interview with Fox News on Wednesday (Dec. 23), Mollie Hemingway, senior editor of The Federalist, said that foreign companies pay the Biden family so much money not only for their family name, but also to influence U.S. policy.

As the mainstream media continues to cover up the Biden family’s corruption scandal, Hemingway questioned in the interview what foreign companies are paying the Biden family for.

Hemingway said, “That’s the ultimate question of the whole thing. The president-elect’s brother, the president-elect’s son, and even some of his other family members were paid a lot of money, and it’s not clear why they took so much money.”

“We do know from some of these documents that they are trading on their last name. They were very clear that their leverage was the last name. But not just the name, but, what does the money get you?” She continued.

While Hemingway says it’s usually legal to make deals to be able to reach out, she also raises the question of exactly what U.S. policy goals attracted companies overseas to give money to the Biden family, and how they undermined U.S. policy.

“The bigger question is, which of these Chinese companies, the wife of the mayor of Moscow or Ukrainian companies are actually trying to influence U.S. policy? How can donating money to Hunt and James Biden help them achieve their policy goals? These are things that are well worth pursuing,” Hemingway said.

While Hemingway said the U.S. Justice Department should not conduct a frivolous investigation, she also acknowledged that Biden’s apparent involvement in Hunt’s business activities is cause for concern. “When the president-elect himself is involved, it becomes a standard conflict of interest,” she said.

“There was witness testimony that (Biden) did know about his family’s business. But he denied knowing. He lied and said it was Russian disinformation, but it wasn’t.” Hemingway said that if there were to be an investigation later, the Justice Department would have to believe what they did, not what they said.

Asked if President Trump should pardon Hunter’s crimes as a final humiliation for Biden, Hemingway said the media would still not cover it, even though it would be a big humiliation.

Hemingway said, “I’m not sure it would do any good because the media would just continue to keep it under wraps instead of reporting it as what should be considered an ‘epic humiliation’.”
