California has a replacement in place, but Democratic vice presidential candidate He Jinli still hasn’t resigned her Senate seat. U.S. President Donald Trump went on vacation with his family to the Sea Lake estate.
The two parties’ top brass teamed up to throw money around. House Majority Leader Democrat Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Republican Mitch McConnell conspired to prioritize foreigners for epidemic relief.
Americans are defecting to Republican states, and Democratic states will lose some congressional seats. The state of New York, which has the largest population in the United States, may lose 2 seats in the House of Representatives.
The Chinese opened a seminar to express their continued support for President Trump and widely spread the message of the January 6 march on Washington DC.
California Has Replacement in Place, but Kathleen Hagel Still Hasn’t Resigned Senate Seat
On Dec. 22, California Governor Gavin Newsom appointed Secretary of State Alex Padilla to fill the Senate seat of Biden’s deputy, Kamala Harris. But He has not yet given a date for her resignation.
In a statement Tuesday, Newsome said Padilla is the son of Mexican immigrants whose parents worked as cooks and housecleaners. Padilla himself worked his way up from humble beginnings to graduate from MIT, then joined the Los Angeles City Council and the state Senate, and “became a champion of voting power” as California’s secretary of state.
However, The Gateway Pundit, a conservative news site, revealed that Padilla was a scandal-ridden Democratic politician who had been roaming the California “swamp” for decades.
Padilla’s office was also accused of taking grants from a Communist Party virus (COVID-19) stimulus program and funneling them to Biden-linked companies to influence the outcome of federal elections.
Is He Jinli afraid to resign?
In addition, Joe Biden, who calls himself “President-elect,” has not yet resigned from her position as U.S. Senator. On November 3, 2008, 10 days after his presidential election victory, Barack Obama announced that he would resign from the Illinois Senate three days later and asked the governor of Illinois to appoint his replacement.
On Saturday (19), prominent U.S. attorney Lin Wood tweeted, “Ask yourself this question this morning: Why hasn’t Kamala Harris (Hejinli) resigned from the U.S. Senate? ” He also implied that “there are no coincidences.”
Perosi McConnell epidemic relief priority foreign countries, Democratic lawmakers criticized “as a slap in the face of Americans”
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, a Democrat representing Hawaii, called the latest bailout package for the Communist Party’s viral crisis a “slap in the face to every struggling American” because it gives billions of dollars to special interests and foreign countries in addition to a $600 stimulus check to Americans.
On Monday, the U.S. House and Senate passed more than 5,500 pages of spending bills aimed at easing the burden on Americans affected by the economic blockade due to the coronavirus, according to The Jewish Voice. Hundreds of billions of dollars of these taxpayer funds go to aid foreign countries, including Sudan; cover the cost of border security for Middle Eastern countries; tax breaks for horse racing horse owners; allow the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Labor discretionary programs to bring in more foreign workers to compete (even though 17.8 million Americans are still unemployed); scale back Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) funding and detention centers, open the immigration wave gates.
At the same time, each single American would receive a stimulus check of $600, while couples would receive a stimulus check of $1,200.
Congressman Gabbard voted against the bill and blasted House Democratic leaders for not providing the text of the bill until hours before the vote.
The bill was more than 5,500 pages long, Gabbard said. We didn’t get this text until about 2:30 in the afternoon. It would take hours to have to vote on it. No one in Congress had the opportunity or time to read a bill that long to understand exactly what was in it.”
“In effect it was in the dark of the night, without any notice and without telling anything about the content, and then we were asked to rush through the vote. It’s irresponsible, and we, as representatives of the people, can never represent the interests of the American people in this situation.”
She said, “This is an insult and a slap in the face to every American who is struggling because of the COVID plague. This bill represents the priorities of Washington. They are supposed to fight for you and make sure that you, the American people, come first. But this bill does not do that.”
In the House, 50 Republicans and two Democrats voted against the bill. In the Senate, six lawmakers opposed the bill.
Democrat New York may lose 2 House seats as nation’s population flees first
New York’s population will decline more than any other state in the U.S. in 2020, a change that could cause the state to lose up to two seats in the U.S. House of Representatives when seats are reapportioned.
According to a survey by the U.S. Census Bureau, preliminary data for 2020 shows that more than 126,000 residents fled the Empire State (as New York State is alias) from July 2019 to July 2020. The state’s population fell to 19.3 million, a 0.65 percent decrease. New York’s population has been steadily declining since 2016, with 2020 creating the largest decline to date.
At this rate of population loss, New York could lose as many as two U.S. House seats, USA Today reported. That’s because the House of Representatives will reallocate its 435 congressional House seats based on population displacement. With the reduction from 27 to 26 seats, its influence in Washington changes as well.
Democrats to lose congressional representation as Americans defect to Republican states
William Frey, of the Brookings Institution, said that the Democratic Party’s influence in Washington has changed. An analysis by William Frey of the Brookings Institution shows that traditionally Republican-leaning states, such as Texas, Florida, Arizona and North Carolina, are expected to gain seats in the redistribution of congressional seats, while blue states, such as California, New York and Illinois, should be prepared to lose their congressional representation.
Florida passed New York in 2014 to become the 3rd largest state in the United States. About 1.4 million people have fled New York in the last 10 years, with about 21 percent of them going to Florida. The population reached 21.7 million.
Texas, the second most populous state, continued to add 373,965 people over the past year, an increase of 1.29 percent, ranking it first in the nation.
Nationally, Illinois is close to New York in terms of percentage population decline alone, with the state losing 79,487 people since last year, a 0.63 percent decline.
In the past year, California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Connecticut all saw their populations decline.
Some red state governors are using census data to predict trends leading up to the release to invite blue state residents to relocate to their states.
