The number of people infected with the new crown outbreak in Dalian is rapidly increasing. Dalian traffic police: Dalian situation is the same as Wuhan
A number of videos taken by local residents show that there are few, if any, people lining up for nucleic acid testing in residential areas of Dalian. Some residential building gates were nailed shut by engineering staff. A traffic police officer told a private driver that Dalian has been closed to traffic and the situation is the same as Wuhan. A video shot said, “The city is closed at the intersection of Shili Fort to Jinzhou, and people from the development zone are not allowed to leave or enter.”
On Tuesday (22nd), the Dalian Municipal Government issued a “Notice on the full-scale nucleic acid testing of the new coronavirus”, requiring full nucleic acid testing in the city within 3 days. Authorities have also asked all residents of Dalian not to leave the area if not necessary, which has caused inconvenience for residents to travel. Ms. Wang, a resident of Shenyang, said her son works in Dalian and is currently unable to return home: “My son works in Dalian and said that Dalian is under martial law, the city is closed and the district is closed, so no one can get out, and after buying enough things, they are not allowed to go out.”
