New crown epidemic hits holidays, charities lend a hand

The New Coronavirus pandemic continues to hit the U.S. economy, with the unemployment rate reaching 6.7% in November, about twice the rate before the outbreak. As the winter and holiday seasons approach, many people who have lost their livelihoods due to the outbreak are facing financial and livelihood hardships. Across the United States, however, charities and nonprofit organizations are moving to reach out to those in need.
