Fast Facts! President Trump Pardons Roger Stone, Paul Manafort and Nearly 30 Others

On Wednesday, President Trump again granted pardons, including full pardons to 26 people and partial or full sentence reductions to three others. In the list of pardoned people, there are 2 people particularly striking: Paul Manafort, former campaign manager of President Trump, and Roger Stone, former adviser to President Trump.

The statement said President Trump pardoned Paul Manafort (Paul Manafort) completely. Manafort was also convicted by Mueller because of the so-called “Russiagate” scam.

The statement describes Mr. Manafort as having spent two years in prison, including a period of solitary confinement – worse treatment than many of the most violent criminals have received.

The statement noted that Mr. Manafort has endured years of injustice due to blatant prosecutorial overreach and is one of the most prominent victims of the largest witch hunt in American history.

Another is Roger Stone (Roger Stone), whom President Trump likewise pardoned completely.

The statement said:Pardoning Roger Stone will help correct the injustice he suffered in the Mueller investigation.

Roger Stone, 68, suffers from multiple illnesses, the statement said. Mr. Roger Stone has been treated very unfairly due to the improper prosecution by Special Counsel Mueller’s team. His home was raided by police before dawn, while he faced potential political bias in his jury trial.

President Trump had previously commuted Mr. Stone’s sentence in July of this year.
