Soon after her marriage with Chiang Kai-shek, she went to manage the surviving clan school of the Northern Expeditionary Army. She managed a small survivor school in an orderly manner. In 1934, Chiang wrote a “Family Affair Memorandum” as a “substitute will”, which had identified Song Meiling as his “beloved”: “I. After my death, I do not want to be buried in the country, but with my beloved wife Mei-ling on the cross road in the west side of Xiadong in Zijinshan Mountain; two, after my death, all the Wuling School and those that do not belong to the Fenghao Room will be under the management of my beloved wife Mei-ling; three, after my death, Jingguo and Weiguo’s two sons must obey the lessons of their mother Mei-ling, and whoever recognizes Yu as their father can only recognize my beloved wife Mei-ling as their mother, and there cannot be a second mother.”

No anger in her heart

Soong Mei-ling’s diet was mostly light. Breakfast was a glass of milk, two slices of toast, a little butter, plus a dish of brine, soaked celery and other vegetables. Lunch was a plate of lettuce salad, half a bowl of rice, and also a small amount of soup. Dinner was still half a bowl of rice.

Never leave fruits and vegetables every day
Soong Mei-ling had to eat fruit every day, and her favorite food was fresh lychees and pineapples. Kiwifruit was also a must-have fruit for Song Meiling. The doctor at the residence once told her, “The benefit of eating more kiwis lies in the fact that its juice can be used for beauty purposes and keep the lady’s skin, forever, white and wrinkle-free as it is.”
In her old age in the United States, she took care of her caregivers to make fruit or vegetable juices for her because of her bad teeth.
Insist on full body massage
One of the reasons why Song Mei-ling always kept her skin white is that she insisted on daily massage.
Whenever Song Mei-ling herself felt tired, she would ask the nurse to massage for her. Until the 1950s when she arrived in Taiwan, began to be equipped with a full-time masseuse, has continued until 1975, when she went to the United States for medical treatment is still uninterrupted.
Quitting smoking
