As the epidemic heats up, China’s outbreak has entered a “multi-point spread” phase. After Dalian, Shenyang authorities issued an epidemic notice on the 23rd, putting the city in a state of war.
According to land media reports, on the 22nd, a citizen of Shenyang went to the fever clinic of the First Hospital of China Medical University and was tested positive for nucleic acid, then the patient was transferred to the Sixth People’s Hospital for diagnosis and confirmed as a serious case.
So far, 71 close contacts and 69 secondary close contacts have been identified. Based on the patient’s movement trajectory and activity range, 31 epidemic sites were initially delineated.
After investigation, it was determined that the patients and close contacts live in 2 neighborhoods, 5 medical institutions and 2 schools attended as risk control units, all of which are closed for management.
The second phase of the China Resources Oak Bay neighborhood in Shenyang’s Yuhong District has been closed by authorities, and a barbecue restaurant owner near the neighborhood told the Epoch Times, “At that time at noon, we saw several cars at the east entrance, a whole bunch of white cars, wearing protective clothing, and police.”
He said that the neighborhood is no longer accessible, and those who can get in can’t get out, “It’s quite dangerous here now, the whole thing makes us old and nervous.”
A supermarket owner told reporters that now China Resources Oak Bay District Phase 1, Phase 2 are not allowed to enter, the goods can only be delivered to the door, residents downstairs to pick up the goods.
The supermarket owner said frankly: “Now some stores and fresh market side are starting to change prices, I do not want to make money this way, do not want to take advantage of this opportunity to raise prices, my home supermarket prices are cheaper than theirs.”
Since the outbreak in Wuhan earlier this year, Liaoning province has been in a “multi-point spread” phase of the epidemic. But outsiders are skeptical about the official communist data on the outbreak.
On Dec. 23, Liaoning authorities issued a notice on the outbreak, asking all units in the province to cancel activities such as reunions and dinners; in medium- and high-risk areas, business performances and all types of cultural business establishments were suspended.
After the outbreak in Dalian on Dec. 20, the city entered a state of war, with 14 schools closed, some hospitals suspending general outpatient services and many public places on the street closed. The closure of schools and the concealment of the epidemic sparked panic among the public, many of whom began stockpiling supplies.
Back in July, Dalian officials notified the epidemic for several days in a row, and within only five days the epidemic spread to four provinces: Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang and Fujian.
