President Trump‘s supporters, who have always believed that he is the winner of the election, are planning a “second inauguration” event for him online on Jan. 20.
The campaign was launched on Facebook, and more than 300,000 people have already expressed interest in participating, with 62,000 pledging to attend.
The “Second Trump Inauguration” page includes the following statement: “We are a grassroots collection of 325,000 individuals just showing our support for President Trump. We are not affiliated with any official organization.”
The organizers of the event are Ilir Chami and Evi Kokalari. Kokalari, who is also known as Evi Kokalari-Angelakis, is a member of Trump’s 2020 campaign team, according to her Twitter profile.
Kokalari’s latest post refers directly to Facebook’s election information system, arguing that the system’s information is fake. She republished Facebook’s disclaimer and noted, “Our right to vote is under attack! Our freedom of speech is also under attack! The Facebook disclaimer published here proves just that.”
U.S. media mogul and televangelist Pat Robertson also said on Monday (21) on the “Christian Broadcasting Network” (CBN) talk show “The 700 Club” that Trump needs to move on and that running in 2024 would be a mistake.
With all of the president’s gifts and ability to raise money and gather large crowds, the president still lives in an alternate reality,” Robertson said. He does, and people say he lies about this, that, and the other thing. For him, that’s the truth. He had the biggest crowd on Inauguration Day, and he had a bigger crowd than ever before. He’s the most popular.”
Robertson said people love Trump too much because his support for evangelicals is so strong. Robertson also said evangelicals have stood with Trump, that God put him in the White House office and that he should now move on.
