The Gateway Pundit published an article by Joe Hoft in its December 20 issue, claiming that current FBI Director Christopher Wray represented the interests of certain Russian energy companies before he took the director’s seat, notoriously, one of which is a wholly owned shareholder of Uranium One.
Joe Hoft is one of the two founders of The Gateway Pundit, whose articles have been retweeted by President Trump, and was a headline writer for the conservative website The Drudge Report. Hoft has traveled the world as a corporate executive in Hong Kong, which gives him a unique perspective on current events in the United States and around the globe.
Hoft’s article this time argues that it is highly likely that Director Lay was involved with Uranium One shareholders, or even with Uranium One itself, when he previously practiced in the private sector.
Why? The Gateway Pundit cites investigative facts that Director Ray was once a partner at the prominent law firm King & Spalding, which represented two of Russia’s largest state-owned oil companies, Rosneft and Gazprom. It is interesting to note that Rosneft and Rosatom, signed a cooperation agreement at an international economic forum in St. Petersburg, which was attended by President Putin. Rosatom happens to be wholly owned by Uranium One, and it is also well known that Uranium One had a reputation for being unjustifiably involved with the Clinton Foundation.
The Gateway Pundit also revealed that Director Ray had represented the president of a company in a criminal investigation conducted by Russian authorities in the past, but did not reveal the name of the company, which was also concealed by Director Ray.
The Gateway Pundit also revealed the history of Director Ray’s rise to power through former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who strongly recommended Mr. Ray to Trump to replace then-FBI Director Comey. However, after being appointed by Trump to the FBI director position, Mr. Ray followed Comey’s path and served the deep state by appointing corrupt agents and lawyers.
The Gateway Pundit believes that Director Ray must go and the FBI must be cleaned up or simply shut down. Only then can the formerly proud law enforcement agency be completely purged of its criminality.
