A recent report shows that the recently revealed affair between a Chinese Communist spy and a Congresswoman is not so simple. Many old photos have been unearthed that show Fang Fang “sweeping” the California Democratic Party political scene several years ago; and in one photo, Fang Fang is standing with California’s senior female senator, Senator Stephan Fan, and another spy who has been lurking around Fan for two decades.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said that the Chinese Communist Party’s infiltration of the United States is very concerning, so why would Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) nominate someone like Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) to the Intelligence Committee who was warned by the FBI that he had a Chinese agent on his side?
Fox TV host Maria Bartoromo said on her talk show Sunday (Dec. 20) that she saw a photo in which U.S. Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) was with Christina Fang, a female Chinese Communist agent, and another Chinese Communist spy who had been lurking around Fan for two decades.
The photo first appeared in a 2018 Tennessee Star report. The report said a man named Russell Lowe worked for Fan for 20 years, leaving in 2013, and that he had maintained close ties with the Chinese-American community before leaving. This man matches exactly the description of the Chinese Communist Party operative that the intelligence community said was on Fan’s side.
The Daily Caller also reported that the above photo was taken at a Chinese New Year celebration hosted by Fang Fang in 2013, when she was president of the Chinese Student Association at Cal State East Bay, when both Swalwell and Russell Liu were working for Fan Shidan.
In the Fox interview, McCarthy began by referring to a briefing the FBI called last Friday with only himself and Pelosi, saying the information discussed at the meeting was “very detailed.
“No one in that room would walk out and say that Swalwell should have been on the intelligence committee. The bottom line, McCarthy said, is that “I don’t know if they met for such a briefing in 2015 as well, and the answer I got from that was that Swalwell must not remain on the Intelligence Committee.
McCarthy went on to say that every member of the Intelligence Committee should have received a briefing from the FBI, and everyone should have known about the background of Swalwell, the young congressman who was placed on the Intelligence Committee during his second term in Congress.
“The same year he was on the Intelligence Committee the FBI sent out this briefing because the FBI was concerned about seeing a situation where he was at the top of the CIA’s list of Democrats, and I don’t understand how this went on for so long, he said. “Since I first heard about this, and since I heard the FBI briefing, I would never have allowed him on the intelligence committee,
The FBI briefing said this Fang Fang not only contacted Swalwell alone, but involved several mayors, later entering Swalwell’s office as an intern and eventually helping him run for Congress.
“That’s how the Chinese Communist Party spies in the United States, they want to steal our secrets,” McCarthy said. McCarthy said. “This intelligence committee is different from other committees in that this is where U.S. secrets are kept, and the members here know things that no one else knows.
Bartholomew said she noticed that Fang Fang and other Communist Party spies frequent California, where Silicon Valley is located and where Van Steen, Pelosi and Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff are members of Congress.
McCarthy said the phenomenon is worrisome enough that Silicon Valley is like the brain of the United States, with so many Chinese Communist spies operating around the congressmen there, some of whom have been lurking for two decades.
That’s why this is a bigger problem than Swalwell itself, a problem that involves the Democratic Party,” McCarthy said. McCarthy said.
He also cited Sheanda’s characterization of the action as “escalation” before the U.S. closed the Houston consulate, and Sheanda’s belief that the Communist Party was not responsible for Wuhan pneumonia.
“That’s what I’m worried about, McCarthy said.
