In the face of all the fraud in the U.S. election, what other options does President Trump have to maintain election integrity? Former U.S. National Security Advisor General Michael Flynn said Trump has several options at his disposal.
In an interview with Newsmax on Dec. 17, Flynn said that in an effort to ensure that the integrity of the 2020 U.S. election is not compromised, Trump could seize voting machines suspected of fraud nationwide or hold a new election in a swing state under military control, and he affirmed the involvement of foreign powers in this U.S. election.
“I don’t know if he’s going to take those options, and the president has to plan for all possible consequences because we can’t let the integrity of this election be (compromised) like that.” Flynn told Newsmax TV, “It will be impossible for a country like ours (to suffer fraud) to move forward in this world.”
Flynn also affirmed the involvement of foreign powers, “First of all, Trump won the election, he needs to immediately appoint a special prosecutor (to investigate the election), and these fraudulent machines sent information to the Chinese Communist Party, or Russia, Iran, Venezuela, etc., and he can immediately order the seizure of every Dominion and other suspected fraudulent machines across the country. “
Flynn said President Trump “could also order the mobilization of military forces within the swing states, deploy them in those states, and re-run the election, which is not unprecedented.”
Flynn said some people now talk about martial law as if it never happened, but the concept is not new, “We’ve had 64 martial laws, and we have constitutional procedures that have to be followed. But I will tell you that I’m a little concerned about Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, that we can’t fool with the structure of the U.S. Constitution.”
Virginia Republican senator and gubernatorial candidate Amanda Chase also called on President Trump Tuesday (Dec. 16) to declare martial law to prevent Biden from being inaugurated as president through election fraud.
“Biden is not my president and never will be. Americans are not fools to win by fraud and we will never accept those results, only fair elections, cheating to win, never. It’s not over yet.” Chase said on Facebook, “(The election) is not over. Thank you President Trump for your perseverance and refusal to concede defeat. President Trump should take General Flynn’s advice and declare martial law.”
