A severe allergic reaction occurred in Pfizer vaccine 1 care

An Alaskan medical worker suffered a severe allergic reaction after receiving the Novel Coronavirus vaccine developed by Pfizer INC. and BioNTech Of Germany.

The health worker had an adverse reaction just minutes after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine yesterday. The incident is similar to two cases reported in the UK last week.

A Pfizer spokesman said: “We have not yet obtained all information about the patient who developed a severe allergic reaction, but are actively working with local health authorities to assess the situation.” “We will be closely monitoring all reports of severe anaphylaxis that may occur after vaccination.”

People who had an allergic reaction to the vaccine, or to its ingredients, were excluded from Pfizer’s clinical trial of 44,000 people.

About three million Americans are expected to receive Pfizer’s vaccine this week, and if Moderna’s vaccine is approved, the nation hopes to reach its target of 20 million this month.
