The Old McConnell is out! Took donations from dodgier lobbyists and overturned two electoral integrity laws. When McConnell acknowledged Biden’s election, Trump responded. Conservatives are demanding a change of majority leader in the Republican Senate.
The left’s vicious Twitter feed, constitutional experts say: Under pressure, it’s important for Trump not to lose. And “Why do you think Trump will throw in the towel when a Republican Congress will officially elect the next president under the Constitution?”
The chairman of the Texas Republican Party dismissed “secession” as the real secessionist
Allen West, chairman of the Texas Republican Party
On Monday, Allen West, the chairman of the Texas Republican Party, clarified accusations that he had divided the country and said attention should turn to the four states named in the Texas lawsuit as defendants, whose officials were tearing the country apart.
Mr West released a statement on Friday after the Supreme Court dismissed a lawsuit from Texas challenging the results of four swing states. Noting that the Supreme Court’s decision sets a precedent that states can violate the United States Constitution without accountability, the statement said the decision will have far-reaching implications for the future of the constitutional republic, and suggested that law-abiding states should unite to form a union of states that abide by the Constitution.
Mr West’s comments upset the left, with some accusing him of dividing the country. Mr. West responded. He said his words never mentioned secession, and that the real secessionists were states that illegally changed their electoral laws before the election.
Mr West challenged his critics: “I have to ask a simple question: when does it become wrong to obey the law and demand that others do the same? When did we become so partisan, even ignorant and incompetent, that we accepted the notion that a constitutionally law-abiding union of states was sedition? But a domestic terrorist group like Antifa, or an illegal change of electoral laws to the detriment of other states, is not a mutinies?”
West says he stands by his original statement that the Supreme Court’s decision in the Texas case was bad for democracy.
Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, the republican vice-presidential candidate in 2008, called the judges who dismissed allegations of election fraud by Mr Trump and his Allies “sheep”. In an interview with Newsmax’s “Stinchfield” on Tuesday, Palin said: “It’s puzzling what we’re seeing is a lack of courage. This is tragic for our country. We did see so many sheep.”
Most Americans want Trump to drain swamp
President Trump has vowed to continue the fight for electoral integrity, and he has public support. A majority of Americans want Trump to continue his fight to change corruption in Washington, according to a new poll released on Monday by research and strategy services firm McLaughlin& Associates.
Fifty-two percent of 1,000 respondents in the December 9 solstice poll said they want trump to continue draining the Washington swamp.
The survey also asked about the choice between “big government socialism” and “free market capitalism,” with 58 percent choosing free market capitalism and only 16 percent choosing big government socialism. Similarly, when asked whether they favoured small government with fewer utilities or the opposite, big government, small government gained a clear advantage, attracting 48 per cent of the vote, while only 36 per cent chose big government.
The Old McConnell is out! Soliciting donations from dodgier lobbyists to overturn two integrity laws
When McConnell acknowledged Biden’s election, Trump responded by calling for a change from conservatives
U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell speaks to the media after the weekly Republican Senate Policy luncheon on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., May 19, 2020.
Trump tweeted early Wednesday morning, retweeting a Daily Mail article about Trump Allies denouncing Mitch McConnell for congratulating Biden. “Mitch, 75 million votes, a record for a sitting president,” Trump tweeted. (You) gave up too soon. Republicans must finally learn to fight. The people are angry!” Trump said.
General Mike Flynn, the former national security adviser, also took to Twitter to back Mr Trump, saying: “Our republic is at stake at this critical moment in American history, with millions & millions & millions of patriots standing behind you, at your side & in front of you. We are not going to fail or shrink like some in the Republican Party, “he said.
Sebastian Gorka, a conservative radio host, accused McConnell of caving in to Biden before Congress could formally certify state electoral votes on January 6.
Mark Levin, another conservative radio host, also complained about Mr McConnell’s premature climbdown. He said everyone had been grateful for McConnell’s excellent help in challenging Biden’s campaign’s misdeeds in key battleground states, but now everyone was grateful.
Levin added, “Trump helped secure your seat [in the Senate], just as he helped secure many [Republican] seats in the Senate and the House, and you can’t wait until January 6 [before conceding to Biden].”
He called for someone else to lead the Senate Republicans.

Left vicious Twitter connivance, Constitutional experts: Congress will elect Trump, Why does Trump concede
Left-wing Hollywood stars ripped the veneer of kindness off their twitter feed and viciously expressed a desire for violence against Trump. The actress Debra Messing wrote, “Messing is a kind of violent act. Trump has committed violence against hundreds of millions of people. My hope is that the tide will turn and he will become the victim of his abuser “; “I wish you a long life in prison, where you are sure to become the most popular boyfriend for all prisoners.”
When the Breitbart media asked Twitter why it had not blocked the threatening language of such violent pornography, twitter ignored it.
Shane Vaughn, a conservative preacher and constitutional scholar based in Mississippi, called the president’s “failure to speak up” “critical.”
Vaughn says such a declaration of defeat is not constitutional, but is a matter of convention. Every presidential election officially ends with a concession statement by the opponent.
So president Trump’s refusal to concede and fail means the fight is far from over, Vaughn said. “Then the twelfth Amendment to the United States Constitution will give us the answer.”
The video of Vaughn, who predicted a month ago that the 2020 presidential election would inevitably go to Congress, has been watched by more than a million people on the YouTube channel.
“Well, 50 states, 37 Republican states, so that’s equivalent to a Republican Congress formally electing the next president under the Constitution, why do you think Trump is going to throw in the towel?” Vaughn said.
Vaughn also pointed to the 2018 presidential sanction order on foreign government interference in the U.S. election, which he believes the president is now gathering evidence to enforce. He has confidence in the president and is encouraging Trump supporters to go out and speak to their local lawmakers while praying for the president.
