At a rally at Washington’s Freedom Plaza on Dec. 12, the rev. Brian Gibson spoke about protecting First Amendment rights.
The 2020 US presidential election is a “war of good and evil” between the US and Communism, a pivotal moment for the country’s survival, with Americans facing the “biggest choice of their lives”, according to religious leaders.
Reverend Brian Gibson joined a group of religious leaders and thousands of people at a rally in Washington on Saturday to call for fair elections and show support for President Trump.
“I believe evil men stole the election and patriots and the children of God will rise up,” Gibson said.
“This is all about ‘We the People’ moment. I tell you, if Americans don’t start acting like Americans, then we will have to live under communism like the Chinese. So, this is a critical moment, a battle between good and evil. This is not Republicans versus Democrats, [but] Americans versus Communists.”
“This is about the soul of America.”
Mark Burns, a Pastor in South Carolina, has been an ardent supporter of President Trump for years. He said he did not believe the vote count would be accurate after the November 3 election.
“I find it hard to believe that Joe Biden got more African American votes than former President Barack Obama.” “How on earth did this happen? There is some tacit collusion.”
Based on the current totals, Mr. Biden has received nearly 12 million more votes than Mr. Obama did in 2008.
Burns believes there is a struggle going on at the heart of America’s founding.
“This is not about Democrats versus Republicans at all. This is really about the heartbeat of America, the soul of America — the essence of the United States of America.” He said.
Burns sees Trump as the face of a growing conservative movement defending the Constitution and preparing to fend off attacks on it.
“We will not let America perish. This is actually a battle between good and evil.” He said, “The Bible says the day has come when what is right will become wrong, and what is wrong will become right. I believe we are under attack right now.”
“We face the biggest decision of our lives.”
Greg Locke, a pastor from Nashville, Tenn., took a bus tour of the March for Trump in Washington for the past two weeks.
“I think it’s a revival of patriotism that we don’t seem to have seen before,” Mr Locke said. For America is not founded on socialist principles, but on judeo-Christianity principles.”
Locke says the current election campaign is the most critical moment he has ever seen in political history.
“Because everything is at stake and we are only one election away from losing everything,” he said.
Locke said Americans are facing the biggest choice of their lives, between “traitors and patriots.”
“That’s it. Traitors and patriots — figure out which side you’re on.” He said.
