Former Green Beret: Americans have woken up

Robert Patrick Lewis, a former MEMBER of the Green Berets of U.S. Special Forces and founder of the First Amendment Guards, is General Flynn’s bodyguard. Flynn accompanied General Flynn to a “Stop Stealing elections, Support A Second Term for President Trump” rally in Washington, DC on Saturday.

Robert Patrick Lewis was a member of the Green Berets, a U.S. Special forces unit, and later a co-founder of the 1st Amendment Praetorian.

First Amendment Guards is an organization that protects the first Amendment rights of ordinary Americans, patriots and religious activities. Lewis arrived in Washington on Saturday, one of the bodyguards of General Michael Flynn, who delivered an impassioned presidential speech before the Supreme Court and crowds on the National Mall.

“The Praetorian Guard was an ancient Roman army dedicated to protecting Kings. To us, we are the first Amendment guards because we believe that the first Amendment makes us Americans.” Lewis said. That, he said, sets the United States apart from every other country in the world.

On December 12, thousands of Americans gathered in Washington for marches and rallies to petition the government for a fair election and a transparent vote count. Similar grassroots protests have taken place every weekend in the capitals of all 50 states since the election. Lewis’s team has been coordinating with local law enforcement agencies and scouring the Internet and social media for potential threats to Washington’s activities.

“People can come here to a voice, let people know that they will not yield, they will not be silent, they want to talk about politics, talk about their feelings, beliefs they want to tell people, when our election is stolen, they won’t stand by and we need to protect them and let them to exercise the rights.” He said.

The division of the United States made this a matter of great concern.

“A lot of people are very angry. “We see it as a low-intensity conflict, a long intelligence investigation,” Lewis said. “We see a lot of people who, in 2016, are afraid to even call themselves supporters of President Trump. There are so many people now, they are not afraid any more.”

“Across the country, they’re willing to get off the couch and get out, and they’re speaking out in real life, on social media, in their families, in their communities.”

“These people are not going to sleep anymore,” he said. “For a long time, the media has been trying to hide everything. People have woken up.”

“The longer some people sleep, the angriest and most engaged they are when they wake up,” he said. “And it won’t stop.”

Lewis also talks about foreign meddling in the U.S. presidential election.

“One of the things that really worries me is that we know a lot of things have outside effects,” he said. We know Sidney Powell outlined China, Iran, Pakistan, and we’ve seen some other external adversaries get involved as well.”

“My biggest fear is that if we do get violent in this country, our adversaries will try to start intervening, and this will be a battlefield, and the United States will be a battlefield.”

“I was a member of the Green Beret in the army, and I was always in the war zone. I don’t want to see this turn into a war zone. I have a family. I have children. I hope we can stop it before it happens.”
