Huawei employees say they were asked to spy on Cisco software

China telecom giant huawei company based in Munich, Germany, le monde Germany recently disclosed r&d team members, the team leader had asked them to spy on the American high-tech companies in violation of copyright of the cisco software, for refusing to accept this task, some members were internal punishment, or be demoted, or terminate the labor contract.

Le Monde reported the news based on transcripts of communications obtained by them.

But Huawei’s German subsidiary told Die Welt newspaper that the allegations were untrue and that there was no intellectual property infringement within the company, but did not directly respond to claims that employees had been fired for refusing the job.

Huawei has faced sanctions from Europe and the US in recent years. This year, the German government has also tightened its approval for Huawei’s participation in Germany’s 5G network.
