A South Korean pervert who sexually assaulted an 8-year-old girl and was convicted of murder was released from prison early Saturday morning after police were on alert after a netizen said he wanted to “have sex” with her.
Eggs as his car left the prison in Seoul, it was surrounded and pursued by members of the public on the spot, and some referred to a chaotic situation. He completed all the paperwork and returned to his home in The city of Ansan. He did not speak publicly, but officials said privately that he would reflect and live. About 100 people gathered near his apartment, chanting for his execution.
Mr. Cho left the prison in Seoul’s southern Kyodo district at about 6:45 a.m. local time, with 30 to 40 people already gathered in front of the gate, many of them lying on the road and holding placards. He was taken by the Special car of the Ministry of Justice to the Protected observation post in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province. As soon as he drove out of the prison, he was surrounded by people on the scene. A large number of police on guard cleared the way for the convoy and prevented people from rushing forward. A number of members of the public broke through the police perimeter and rushed to the vehicle in which Mr Zhao was travelling, kicking it to ease their anger, and hurled eggs and objects at the convoy.
The motorcade then arrived at the Anshan observation post, where a large number of reporters were waiting and Mr. Zhao made his first public appearance in 12 years, accompanied by several police officers. After completing his release from prison, he drove back to Anshan, looked around and went straight into his apartment without saying anything about his crimes or to the victims or their families.
The protection and observation officer said that during the visit from the prison to the protection and observation post, Zhao said that he would reflect on himself and live while seeing the crowd at the scene, and that he did not expect such an atmosphere. He said bluntly that he had committed the great crime of anger between god and man.
In order to prevent zhao Douchun on his way home and the deployment of police alert, more than 10 meters away from his apartment set up a special security center and closed-circuit television, and set up a blockade. Some residents asked why they wanted to protect Zhao, saying, “How are we going to live? It looks like we are going to move.” “Are we going to be hurt because of this man? I can’t sleep.”
As Zhao was released from prison, the Ministry of Women’s Families posted his name, age, height, weight, photo and crime information on the sex offender list on its website.
