Texas Case Dismissed White House Spokesman Decries High Court’s Evasion of Duty

The U.S. Federal Supreme Court on Friday (Dec. 11) dismissed a Texas lawsuit against four swing states. In response, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said those high court justices used the process as an excuse to avoid their responsibility to uphold the Constitution.

In an interview with Fox News anchor Sean Hannity on Friday, McEnany said, “There’s no other explanation, they’re running away (from their duties).”

“They’re running away, they’re using process as an excuse to refuse to exercise their power to uphold the Constitution,” McInerney added, “and we went state by state and outlined outrageous violations of (constitutional) equal protection, and due (election) process complaints were completely ignored. “

McInerney emphasized that “none of the Supreme Court justices gave an opinion on the empirical evidence presented in the case that 174,384 ballots in Michigan did not have registered numbers. That’s still just one piece of empirical evidence in this case.” “So they (the Supreme Court) didn’t see the legitimacy of this case. Despite (the high court’s) ruling on this, that empirical evidence is still there, and the prosecution of this election and its integrity is still there.”

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) later issued a statement saying it was unfortunate that the Supreme Court decided not to take the case and did not determine whether the four states’ failure to comply with federal and state election laws (was) constitutional. “I will continue to work tirelessly to defend the integrity and security of elections and hold accountable those who would overturn established election laws for their own benefit.”

Trump responded that the Supreme Court’s decision was disappointing, devoid of courage and wisdom, and a “legal disgrace, an American disgrace. He also said he would continue to fight for the American people.
