On Saturday, December 12, supporters of President Trump gathered in Washington, D.C., for a rally and march to protest election fraud by corrupt groups and to enthusiastically encourage Trump to persevere and fight on in his fight to defend the United States and the Constitution and to win the 2020 U.S. presidential election. President Trump’s supporters made it clear that they will continue to fight back regardless of media and court rulings, and will not accept Biden as president.
At Freedom Plaza near the White House, one of the locations of the rally, people wearing Trump campaign hats and carrying flags gathered to chant “4 more years” and “end vote-stealing. Rally organizers, Women for America First, expect 15,000 people to attend the rally, which will be followed by a march to the Supreme Court.
Prominent human rights activist Chen Guangcheng also attended the rally and said, “The Constitution is being challenged. I also came to experience democracy on the spot, because social justice is everyone’s responsibility.”
He went on to emphasize, “The destruction of America is about how humanity will survive. There is no justice without truth, and it is a very reasonable demand to ask for the truth to be revealed.”
President Trump was cheered by the crowd below as he left the White House in the morning in the Marine One helicopter and flew over the rally. Trump aide Dan Scavino (R-Texas), a member of the White House, said the rally was a success. Dan Scavino tweeted an overhead photo with a message to the crowd: “Thank you, patriots.”
In the afternoon, President Trump’s motorcade passed by the rally crowd, reigniting the enthusiasm. People chanted, “America America.” “We love Trump.”
