With the closure of the station imminent, Zhongtian News decided to make the departure loud and clear to show their determination to protest.

Then, starting at 6 a.m. on the 10th, CTS News Channel 52 and the YouTube channel began a 42-hour live anchor broadcast campaign.
According to Taiwanese media reports, the campaign was kicked off by anchor Liu Ying-xiu, and the station’s anchors Lu Xiufang, Zhou Yuqin, Ma Qianhui and Dai Lizang took over the live broadcast. When it comes to the late night time, Zhang Ruoyu, Wang Naiqian, Lin Jiayuan and Liu Yingxiu will be sent to sit.
At 6pm on the 11th, anchor Lu Xiufang will also broadcast the evening news for the last time on Channel 52.
The last hour before the station closes will be spent by all 475 employees of CTS to count down the records of 26 years to wave goodbye to CTS’s cable TV career.
At the live broadcast on the afternoon of the 11th, many people came out to show their support despite the cold wind. The guests on stage were enthusiastic, angrily criticizing the DPP for suppressing press freedom and calling on people to hurry up and subscribe to the YouTube TV account and their personal shows.

The live show was also intercut with video ads from time to time. It seems that moving subscribers to YouTube has become a top priority for Zhongtian, and their goal: to reach 2 million subscriptions to Zhongtian TV by 2021.
Currently, CTS has two YouTube channels, CTS TV with 1.78 million subscribers and CTS News with 768,000 subscribers.
On the afternoon of the 10th, the live event attracted more than 10,000 viewers, and many fans donated and left messages of support. According to the Taiwan media, NCC announced on the 9th that after the suspension of Zhongtian News Channel, Channel 52 will be treated as an empty frequency, that is, after the 51st channel, it will jump directly to Channel 53 without a black screen screen, and if you input Channel 52 from other channels, it will stay in the original channel.
