New crown vaccine study hastily concealed crisis 2 people in UK developed allergy after injection

Global pharmaceutical companies are stepping up research and development of new pneumonia vaccines, but the short development period may be a potential crisis! Recently, the vaccines developed by many countries have been in clinical trials and even during the injection period, such as the Australian clinical trial of people with false positive reactions to HIV, that is, they were mistakenly diagnosed; in addition, in the United Kingdom, people who received the vaccine from Pfizer had allergic reactions, and the British government has urged people with a history of severe allergies not to receive the vaccine.

The vaccine, jointly developed by the University of Queensland and biotechnology company CSL, was tested in the first phase of clinical trials in July this year, but CSL discovered on Friday (11) that some participants in the trial had a false-positive reaction to HIV after receiving the vaccine and were mistakenly diagnosed with AIDS. The vaccine is one of four vaccines the federal government plans to procure, and the Australian government has terminated a A$1 billion (HK$5.84 billion) vaccine agreement with CSL, while ordering an additional 31 million doses of vaccines from other pharmaceutical companies.

The United Kingdom also began vaccinating certain groups of people, such as the elderly, with the Pfizer vaccine on Tuesday (8), but the authorities received a notification on Wednesday (9) that two National Health Service (NHS) staff had allergic reactions to the vaccine, and the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) immediately warned people with a history of severe allergies not to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

In addition, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has voted by a large margin to allow the urgent use of the new pneumonia vaccine developed by the pharmaceutical company Pfizer, which is expected to begin in a few days.
