Giuliani: Trump campaign lawyer Ellis infected

Jenna Ellis, a member of President Donald Trump’s (Trump) legal team, listens during a hearing of the Michigan House Oversight Committee in Lansing, Michigan, December 2, 2020.

Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, revealed Tuesday (Dec. 8) that a lawyer on the presidential campaign has tested positive for the Chinese Communist virus (Wuhan pneumonia).

Giuliani told WABC radio that Jenna Ellis, 36, tested positive for the virus several days after attending a Christmas party at the White House on Dec. 4.

The Trump campaign has yet to publicly acknowledge Ellis’ diagnosis. The team also did not immediately respond to media requests for comment.

Giuliani was at the hospital when he spoke. He was hospitalized last Sunday (Dec. 6) after testing positive for the Chinese Communist virus.

On Tuesday, media reported that Ellis had become a White House super-communicator. The day after the Christmas party, Ellis tested negative for the virus, Giuliani said.

“It’s weird that she contracted the disease, but I can’t imagine that’s when she contracted it.” He added, “She didn’t necessarily get it while at the party.”

He continued, “If you’re invited somewhere and they test you and you come back negative, then you can go.”

Both Ellis and Giuliani have been traveling in battleground states, busy with legal battles over election fraud. They hope to convince legislators to take back the power to choose their electors and ultimately elect elect electors who will support Trump. Battleground states accused of serious fraud have given their electoral votes to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

Giuliani, 76, said he was tested on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 and came back negative on both tests. He then traveled to Arizona, Michigan and Georgia.

Last Saturday (Dec. 5), he began experiencing symptoms and tested positive the next day.

“On Saturday, I felt a little bit tired compared to what I usually feel, and I’ll take that as fatigue,” Giuliani said he is now expected to be released from the hospital on Dec. 9. In a tweet Tuesday, he said, “Feeling strong!”

It’s unclear if Ellis is in the hospital. She was tweeting all day Tuesday. One of the posts alluded to the fact that the media had cited anonymous sources to make their case about her diagnosis.

The mainstream media, she said, “are quick to believe one or two unnamed ‘sources’ at a time, yet refuse to acknowledge the sworn testimony of hundreds of eyewitnesses in six states.”
