First Urgent Alert: UK Advises Against Pfizer and BioNTech New Crown Vaccine for People with a History of Severe Allergies

After several cases of severe reactions to the initial widespread neo-crown (Chinese Communist virus) vaccination of the population that has begun, the British health authorities announced that people with a history of severe allergies are advised not to receive the vaccine, which was developed by Pfizer in the United States and BioNTech in Germany.

On Wednesday, December 9, the British government issued its first emergency alert for the initial widespread neo-crown vaccination of the population, which had begun the day before. The alert was prompted by two nurses who suffered serious adverse reactions after receiving the neo-crown vaccine, a joint vaccine developed by Pfizer (USA) and BioNTech (Germany). The two had received the vaccine on Tuesday the 8th, had an allergic reaction soon after the injection, had to be treated, and were feeling much better by the morning of the 9th. Stephen Lewis, NHS England’s regional medical director, said, “The two men have been feeling better.

In fact, both nurses had a history of severe allergies and carried epinephrine, which can be used in an emergency, with them. Out of an abundance of caution, the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has decided to recommend that all people with a history of severe allergies “should not receive this vaccine,” noting that “this advice relates to previous allergic reactions to other vaccines, allergic reactions to medications, and even to Allergic reactions to food”, but also said that “such phenomena are not unusual for a new vaccine and that only two people had severe reactions, so mass vaccination will not be hindered”. The initial phase of the current vaccine in the U.K. is aimed at the elderly and the health care community.
