On Tuesday the 8th, the U.S. Presidential Inaugural Committee rejected a resolution to confirm Biden’s election. On the same day, the legal counsel for the Trump campaign said that the safe harbor was not a deadline and that the fight would continue.
In addition, two law professors argued that Vice President Mike Pence may have the right under the 12th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution to reject the disputed electoral votes, paving the way for the U.S. House of Representatives to re-elect the president.
Georgia is the most widely criticized state for fraud in this election. Recently, social media and U.S. media have been digging up information about Governor Kemp’s friendship with the Chinese Communist Party.
U.S. Presidential Inaugural Committee Rejects Resolution Confirming Biden’s Election
On Tuesday (December 8), the Joint Committee on Presidential Inaugurations (JCCIC), composed of members of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate, refused to confirm Biden’s victory in the 2020 election. A resolution calling for Biden’s confirmation failed to pass with all Republican members of the committee voting against it.
House Democrat Snyy Hoyer (D-Md.) noted that all three Republicans on the committee voted against the resolution, and the final resolution failed to pass 3-3.
The Joint Committee on Presidential Inaugurations is a special joint committee of the U.S. Congress that has been formed every four years since William McKinley’s inauguration in 1901 to administer the inauguration of the President and Vice President.
In addition to Hall, other members serving on the committee include House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Republican Senator Roy Blunt, and House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy.
Blunt, a Republican senator who voted against the bill, said in a statement that the Presidential Inaugural Committee is not in a position to decide who will be inaugurated in the future ahead of the electoral process and that it is not the department’s task.
Trump’s legal team: safe harbor not deadline will continue fight
Jenna Ellis, counsel to the Trump campaign, said Tuesday on Fox Business that Jan. 6 of next year, the date on which congressional delegates will be counted, is the actual date that is “of ultimate significance.
Ellis said, “Even Justice Ginsburg, in the Bush v. Gore election contest, acknowledged that the ultimate date of significance that she was talking about was January 6, which is the actual date that Congress counts the delegate votes.”
“While today comes to the Safe Harbor deadline, and there is an Electoral College meeting next week on December 14, the final meaningful date is January 6.”
“I do think that our lawsuit and other lawsuits like those of Mike Kelly and other organizations that we’ve discussed, those lawsuits are still going to go forward, and while our (case) and constitutional deadlines are a little tight, we still have enough time to make sure that the election and the results are free and fair for all Americans. “
As of Tuesday, the lawsuit, filed by Trump’s legal team, various federal and state legislators, prominent lawyers, and civil society organizations, was already underway in six key states (Georgia, Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin).
Law Professor: Pence Can Reject Electoral College Results
John Yoo, professor of law at the University of California-Berkeley, and Robert H. K. K. Yoo, professor of law at the University of St. Thomas, reported on Dec. 8 in a report by Just the News. -Robert J. Delahunty, in an Oct. 19 article in The American Mind, argues that Pence, as presiding officer of the Joint Session of Congress, could refuse to count the electoral votes of states where the election is contested.
As is customary, Congress will meet in a joint session on Jan. 6 to certify the electoral votes submitted by the states.
While the Electoral Count Act of 1887 appears to have created a “safe harbor” for states to report their Electoral College votes, the professors argue that the Act itself may be unconstitutional because under the 12th Amendment to the Constitution, the President of the Senate (i.e., the Vice President) is required to open the certification of all state electoral votes and count them in the presence of both Senators and House members.
What is unclear, the professors added, is who exactly “counts” the electoral votes and how to determine their validity. Over the decades, politicians and legal scholars have offered different answers to these constitutional questions. They argue that the role of the vice president is not merely a ministerial role of opening ballots and handing them over to others to count. Although the 12th Amendment to the Constitution uses the passive voice to describe the counting of ballots, the language seems to envision a single, continuous process in which the vice president both opens and counts the ballots.
The two professors argue that checking for error or fraud in the vote count is something the vice president is publicly required to do in the presence of members of Congress. If it is the Vice President’s responsibility to count electoral votes, then it is inextricably linked to the Vice President’s responsibility to determine the validity of those votes. Thus, it is possible that Vice President Pence will decide whether to count the disputed electoral votes at issue in those proceedings. For example, in counting Pennsylvania’s electoral votes, Pence could count the electoral votes of the Republican legislature and exclude the electoral votes of Democratic Governor Tom Wolf.
Norman J. Ornstein, a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, told Just the News via email Monday (Dec. 7) that he disagrees with the notion that Pence can reject electoral votes.
Georgia governor cozying up to spy dens, Wood: no coincidence
Recently, the U.S. state of Georgia has frequently exposed evidence of heavy election fraud videos, and Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, a Republican, has been criticized for inaction and questioned for accepting bribes from the Chinese Communist Party to purchase the Dominion voting system. Kemp’s friendship with the Chinese Communist Party has been uncovered by social media and US media.
Attorney Wood, who has been working to expose election fraud, retweeted a tweet on Dec. 9, “Good morning, I was reminded this morning that I believe there are no coincidences.” “On July 12, 2019, Governor Camp of Georgia met with Houston Consul General Li Qiangmin at the Chinese Consulate in Houston, an alleged den of spies. On July 29, 2019, the State of Georgia signed the contract for Dominion voting machines. Is it a coincidence?” The tweet included links to two articles.
The tweet included links to two articles.
One is a July 12, 2019, article from the Communist Party’s outreach media outlet, “US-China Report,” titled “Chinese Consul General in Houston, Li Qiangmin Meets with Governor of Georgia. Gov. Kemp: ‘Thank You for Your Contributions to Georgia!'”
On behalf of the state government, Governor Kemp thanked Consul General Li Qiangmin for his contributions to the development of trade and tourism between China and Georgia over the past five years in office. Consul General Li emphasized the importance of the development of friendly relations between China and the United States and welcomed Governor Kemp’s early visit to China.”
“After the meeting, Governor Kemp personally presented Consul General Li Qiangmin with “Inspired Georgia” as a dedication on the book’s title page. Consul General Li also presented the governor with a beautiful Chinese artifact.
The story also included several pictures, including intimate photos of Li and Kemp, as well as gifts exchanged between the two men. Kemp wrote, “Consul General Li, thank you for your excellent service and friendship with the State of Georgia, and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Your friend, Kemp.”
Earlier, Secretary of State Pompeo had explained that the reason for closing the Communist Party’s consulate in Houston in late July of this year was that it was a den of spies.
Another State Scoop story is that 17 days after their meeting, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced the state’s decision to phase out its 17-year-old DRE voting equipment and sign a $107 million contract with Dominion for a new voting system. The rationale for the replacement was that the new system would produce a paper-based voting record.
The contract includes more than 30,000 ballot-marking devices and more than 3,500 optical scanners for counting ballots statewide.
Attorney Wood has said that the Chinese Communist Party has been infiltrating U.S. government officials at all levels for more than 20 years, and that Governor Kemp has taken kickbacks from the Chinese Communist Party on Dominion and epidemic preparedness supplies contracts. Attorney Powell has revealed that she has evidence that state officials in Joe’s state have taken bribes from the Chinese Communist Party, similar to the Hunt for Biden deal, and that these officials have benefited their families.
Trump tweeted on Monday, again criticizing Kemp. “What’s wrong with this guy? What is he hiding?”
