New crowns diagnosed in France: Italy lends a helping hand

French health authorities noted Friday that nearly 9,000 people have been diagnosed in the past 24 hours. This is the highest number of confirmed cases since the outbreak began. Italy reaches out to France.

There were 8,975 new cases diagnosed in France in a 24-hour period, according to figures released by French health authorities on Friday night. This is a significant increase from the previous number of confirmed cases. The number of confirmed cases in the 24-hour period announced on Wednesday and Thursday was slightly more than 7,000.

Italy Prepares to Aid France

Fifty-three new cluster cases have been detected in France. Faced with this situation, Italy came to the rescue. Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio declared, “At Italy’s most critical moment, France did not close its borders, but helped by providing medical equipment. We cannot forget that.”

In France, millions of people have been tested in the last seven days. As a result, the virus has been noted to be growing. The positive rate is still rising, at 4,4% on Thursday and 4,5% on Friday. There are currently 473 patients being rescued, 46 of whom have been admitted to the emergency room in the last 24 hours. That’s nine more than Thursday.
