Germany alarmed by the 2nd knife attack in 1 week

Three days ago, a Somalian man killed three people in a knife attack in the Bavarian city of Wuerzburg.

The suspect fled after the crime, police officers are on a helicopter to track his whereabouts. The local police said the suspect is a 20 to 30-year-old male, wearing a brown pullover top and dark sweatpants, with curly hair between blond and red, and scars on his face.

The two male victims were 45 and 68 years old. They were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries after the crime.

On the 25th of this month, a 24-year-old Somalian male stabbed three women to death and injured six others in a killing spree in Wuerzburg. Police say he is suspected of suffering from mental illness, but a witness heard the man shouting “Allah akbar” when he committed the crime, so the motive may also be related to terrorism.
