Comprehensive Chinese media reports, Harbin Shangzhi City Propaganda Department said that on June 1, from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Shangzhi City, the local tornado, hail, expanding and Cap Hill Township, Ujimi Township, Hedong Township and Changshou Township, the above four townships were affected to varying degrees, many houses, farmland, factories, cowshed, chicken coops were destroyed, resulting in serious economic losses.
The report mentions that as of 6:00 a.m. on the 2nd, the local government has moved and resettled 243 villagers, and the wind damage is estimated to have caused 148 houses to collapse and damage, with a conservative estimate of about 5.12 million yuan in losses; the local government has sent additional personnel to rescue.
