Huapost: Why is it credible that the new crown virus was leaked from the Wuhan lab?

According to an article in the Washington Post on the 25th, the claim that the New Crown virus was leaked from a Wuhan lab, previously dismissed as a ludicrous conspiracy theory, has gained new credibility in the past few months.

Why did the virus leak from the Wuhan lab become credible? The article points out that the primary reason is that, over the past period, investigations into the inference that the virus originated in nature have failed; secondly, claims that the virus was leaked from a laboratory were initially often conflated with the idea that the virus was a deliberately created “biochemical weapon,” which many scientists dismissed as nonsense when they heard about it.

The recent wave of attention and discussion on the activities of the Wuhan laboratory has led some scientists to admit that the virus may have been lab-related when they first punched back too early.

The Washington Post article points out that in some cases, important information was ignored even though it was available early in the outbreak, while in other cases, experts have worked hard to think outside the box, piecing together credible truths, bit by bit, based on science, and these theories have begun to change people’s minds, leading to the latest calls for a thorough investigation into the activities of the Wuhan lab prior to the outbreak. The latest call for a thorough investigation into what activities preceded the outbreak at the Wuhan laboratory.

On May 14 of this year, 18 leading scientists published an open letter in the journal Science calling for a new investigation into the origins of the new coronavirus, as it is possible that both laboratory leakage and human-animal co-transmission caused the spread of the outbreak.

The article points out that from the beginning of the outbreak, Republican U.S. Senator Tom Cotton (R-UT) pointed the finger at the Wuhan laboratory and demanded clarification from China. The New York Times says that if Cotton’s claims are indeed true, history will give him credit.

The Wall Street Journal recently reported, based on U.S. intelligence, that three researchers at China’s Wuhan Institute of Virus Research had developed a serious new coronavirus condition in November 2019 and went to the hospital; Fauci, the chief U.S. epidemiologist who has denied that the new coronavirus came from the Wuhan lab, recently changed his tune and said he “should continue to investigate what is happening in China.”
