U.S. think tank president: U.S. media is serving America’s sworn enemy, the Chinese Communist Party

Frank Gaffney, founder and president of the Center for Security Policy, a U.S. think tank, criticized Wednesday (19) that some U.S. media outlets are actually subverting U.S. national interests for the benefit of the United States’ main geopolitical rival, the Communist Party of China. U.S. national interests. He also singled out Bloomberg for criticism.

In an interview Wednesday with Alex Marlow, host of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily, Gaffney referred to Marlow’s book, Breaking the News: Exposing the Establishment Media’s Hidden Deals and Secret Corruption ( Breaking the News: Exposing the Establishment Media’s Hidden Deals and Secret Corruption), which details Bloomberg’s ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

Gaffney points out that Bloomberg is effectively serving America’s sworn enemy, the Chinese Communist Party, by allowing the rest of the world to spread Communist propaganda through the use of its platform, “which, let’s face it, is shameful.”

Gaffney further analyzed Bloomberg’s cooperation with the CCP as just one example of a broad group of U.S. news media aligned with the CCP. He cited several other examples, including The Washington Post and The New York Times, which are earning millions of dollars a year through their naked propaganda on behalf of the CCP in the form of so-called news inserts or advertising supplements in their newspapers, and whose employees are receiving various CCP training or banquets.

Marlow noted that many other media outlets are also taking cash from the CCP and printing ads for it.

“That’s propaganda. It’s truly CCP-style propaganda, and not even (just in) the United States.” Marlow said certain media outlets in the U.K. have done the same thing, which demonstrates how badly the CCP’s influence operates.
