The reporter noted that the civil indictment provided by Li Jie showed that the criminal trial, the plaintiff Li Jie did not want to reach a compensation agreement with the defendant, because he did not want to take his daughter’s life to be measured in money, but only wanted the defendant to get the punishment he deserved, and made it clear in court that after the criminal trial was over, he would file a separate civil suit, which was granted by the court.

After the criminal trial, Li Jie “in order to protect his legitimate rights and interests, according to the relevant legal provisions, according to the law, filed a lawsuit”. Li Jie requested the court in the Civil Complaint to order the two defendants – Wang Mou and his mother to bear the death compensation, funeral expenses, transportation costs, travel expenses, lost wages and moral damage and other related costs, a total of 1,752,990 yuan.
