The World Economic Forum urged companies to fire unvaccinated employees as part of a “get back to work” campaign and deleted the tweet after backlash, National Pulse reported on May 18.
The original tweet posted Monday by the World Economic Forum read, “Get vaccinated against the Communist virus or you could face consequences from your employer. “
The colorful image attached to the tweet explained the results of a survey conducted by the World Economic Forum, in which 40 percent of companies would fire employees who do not get vaccinated, 32 percent would reward vaccination and 16 percent would require some employees to be vaccinated.
The tweet received such a strong response that the Davos Forum was forced to delete the initial tweet, but uploaded the post with the same graphic anyway, only adjusting the title of the tweet, “Survey, Will Employees Be Required to Vaccinate Against the CCP Virus? “
But comments on the new post were quickly followed by uploads of screenshots of the deleted tweet.
