During the interview, Gigi Leung generously shared her experience of learning the art. She claimed that she really paid a lot to get the professional qualification. She laughed and said that when she used to buy cakes to eat, her husband always stopped her, thinking that she would get fat if she ate too many desserts. Nowadays, she can use making cakes as an excuse to eat non-stop.
She also revealed that every time she finished a class, she would take a few cakes home for her family to taste. However, after a long time, her family got a little tired of them and took them to give to others, thus making a lot of new friends.
Asked whether she would open a dessert store after graduation? Gigi Leung said she would not consider it, because it is too hard to do business.
Although Gigi Leung does not intend to open a dessert store, but she has other business, that is, with her husband to open a children’s clothing store, and has been operating for several years. In order to run the store, she is less and less involved in front of the screen performance.
When she first broke up with Ekin Cheng, Gigi Leung was single for many years. She met Sergio by chance when she was traveling abroad, and they hit it off immediately and decided to get married soon after dating.
After the marriage, Sergio followed Gigi Leung to Hong Kong to live. Although he was uncomfortable with the fast-paced life here, he was willing to try for the sake of his wife.
After the birth of their daughter, Sergio didn’t want to miss her growth and simply quit his former high paying job to open a children’s clothing store.
